A comprehensive, pedal box kit that we have developed alongside Jaguar Works (and other specialists) for the XK120 models to convert to a bias adjustable, dual brake system with hydraulic clutch lever actuation. This is CUSTOM FITTING kit, but we try to help make fitting it a relatively straightforward job, by including all the necessary parts to allow you to fit it in one go. We cannot provide model specific fitting instruction, so do not buy it if you do not have a competent engineer to be able to fit a kit that will require modifications from standard in a 1950's vehicle. It offers you the benefit of up to 6" (15cm) of extra legroom from the upright floor mounted pedal position (depending on Left or Right Hand Drive body panels).

State if fitting to Left or Right Hand Drive vehicle, but please note that the standard XK150 actuator is always factory fitted to RIGHT HAND SIDE of the bellhousing on a RHD mount bracket, as the hydraulic piping simply converts drivers position (as on the XK150, across the bulkhead SEE : 3647).

Pedal assembly spans 28cm wide x 28cm high x 12cm deep and includes an XK120 spec. dual reservoir metal cannister to look original, for the twin 0.625" / 0.70" brake cylinders, pipes, flexy hoses and fittings to plumb it all in. A matching single reservoir (0.75") is supplied for the XK150 design hydraulic clutch actuating assembly we supply, from reservoir to the drop arm (and double coil spring). You will then only see the two reservoirs. The later design clutch slave mount plate and adjuster shaft is all included and should be fitted (on the Right hand side) to the bellhousing, to Jaguar XK150 spec. Special conversion brake pipe fittings also overcome step-down plumbing problems between big bore XK120 / XK140 piping and later XK150 size bore fittings on master cylinders.

The original cross shaft is retained, so removal of the Clutch Assembly is not necessary, but the actuating shaft will need to be removed and refitted on the Right hand side (see above) for Left Hand Drive cars.

A throttle pedal is provided with the box assembly, so we include a cable for you to use if you so choose to simplify your system.

This XK120 kit includes our BULKHEAD EXTENSION PLATE (SE326) to add additional legroom. This will require a reinforcement plate fitted below the box to prevent flexing of the box on the floor.

NOTE : This is a custom, racing modification, so ensure it is ALLOWED IN THE RACE SERIES / is fitted ROAD LEGAL in country you register / drive it in.
