1 x 1160. Chrome plated XK150 Reverse and Number Plate Plinth / Light Housing Assembly (sometimes called the 'Stingray'). Cast out of  ZA12, zinc alloy, which is superior to the original Mazak, beautifully, triple chrome plated finish. Finishing to body with rubber number plate beading is recommended for best finish. The inner bulb holder includes also houses the boot light bulb too. It also fits some period saloons too. Jaguar Original Ref. 5308 / C4559.

NOTE: The 'secret' for correct fitment of a new glass and inner bulbholder into this casting, for alignment a NEW INNER GASKET SET is necessary.

SEE : 6721 for the two piece gasket set.

For replacement glass SEE : 1161

For and inner bulbholder SEE : 1162

For side chrome strip options SEE : 1580 or 1582 depending on year of boot lid design.

NOTE : It should be noted that original Mazak (or 'Monkey Metal' ) pits badly and these surface holes mean that it does NOT restore easily or economically. It is advised to discard old Mazak and just fit new ZA12 casings.

All new cast parts should be 'Dry Fitted', with their gaskets, BEFORE painting panels to allow for any slight differences in fit. This process will give the best overall finish.
