8630  x 1  Left  OR  Right Hand Drive Unit Fully Rebuilt  XK120 Burman Steering Box CONVERTED TO THE OPPOSITE HAND DRIVE.

This is a special service  for an exchange unit that has had a complete rebuild in the  reverse configuration drive to that supplied originally. A new worm and half-nut assembly welded in and then rebuilt bearings and races, top bush. This will allow you to convert your XK120 to the OPPOSITE HAND DRIVE spec. This means that we require you to supply YOUR unit to us to ascertain it is complete and in good order to exchange.

These units are rebuilt to correct spec. by a fully trained Burman specialist for us.

NOTE : A CONVERTED UNIT MAY HAVE THE DRAIN PLUG TOO LOW DUE TO FLIPPING THE COVER, BUT THE SEMI-FLUID LUBRICANT SUPPLIED IN THE UNIT WILL NEVER REQUIRE TOPPING UP OR REPLACING.

We may have a correct unit available depending on the core units we have in stock, or we may have to rebuild your unit, but we still require your unit first. We will advise you accordingly.

ANY MISSING PARTS will have to be charged extra for on top of this standard cost.
