1 x 8032. XK120 (Late) and XK140 Paper Oil Filter Element & seal.

Replacement Oil Filter element for the standard Later XK120 and the XK140  (i.e. with 6" long cannisters). The original spec. a felt filter element, but these are no longer available.These modern paper filters are actually more efficient, and cheaper than felt! This size filter can be used on other cars of the same era but we can only guarantee it to fit for the XK120 Late and XK140 model(s) that we specialise in. Suits Tecalemit filter bodies Listed on XK120 & XK140 models as FA.2690, FA.2690/101, FA.2708 (often have I.D. plates rivetted on casting). Original part ref. is FG2388P & FG2421P.

This product comes with the commonest 3 x 3 mm sealing ring included in the box.

We are able to supply a thicker 1/4" sealing ring, for early filter heads, SEE : 8029.

If a 5 x 5mm seal ring is required SEE :8038.

NOTE: if your filter is flopping around in the cannister you may have lost the top securing plate or the sprung lower dished plate ( circlips fail and the plates stick to the old element you throw away). SEE: 8038 for example diagram of a similar later design.
