2512 & 2514. * BUNDLE OFFER* This trim cover fits all XK140 & XK150 Models in a very visual position, below the dash, on the central gearbox cover. We have now tooled and remade this Inspection Cover (in steel) that sits in the cabin floor. It is bundled here with the correct fixings to the gearbox cover, (throught the carpet) to enable access to the gearbox dipstick. We include : 2 quarter turn, quick-fit, 'Oddie Fasteners' & associated washer and springs, the give correct, concourse or period detail. This correct fitting detail is one of the 'givaways, of a good restoration. Original Number BD8279. BD1288/1 & /2 & /3.
Panel makers often fit the wrong fasteners, or omit them, because these fittings are rare, expensive and very difficult to obtain.
NOTE : Trim the panel in vinyl to match your interior carpet colour.
