Taken from the design laid down for us by the famous racing driver John May of XK Developments. This is the top half of our kit, SEE : SE405 for the full kit with U-Bolts.

Part of our popular conversion kit that entails a pair of weld-in, steel, top shock mounts similar to the standard plates that are integral on the XK140 & XK150 later chassis design. We recommend that these are best welded into the chassis with the body off the chassis for safety and access for inspection.
