NOTE : We deliberately DO NOT powder coat (aaaah!) these panels, a basic error,  as they would just have to be stripped (a tough job) to then be primed from bare steel to match to your painters paint base that you are top coating over. This panel is always  paint matched to the boot, unlike front number plate panels which are not, as they sit on or under chrome bumpers or bumper bars so tend to be painted black. Remember to order a Jaguar, Oversize number plate to make your car look its best.

Professional auto painters hate different paint bases as they often cause reaction problems to their top coat and always favour their own supplier / brand to suit their own personal taste / experience,  as unkown primers may react instantly or maybe cause a problem a year later . I literally know a painter that lost a court case (read as 'lots of money') over this problem!!
