4524, 4525, 4526. A Set of 3 of our popular and also essential axle Metal Shims for setting up the XK Jaguar 2HA & 4HA Salisbury Axles in correct standard sizes of : 0.003", 0.010" & 0.025". Included are 1 of each in this set of 3 parts which are commonly considered to be no longer available in the correct materials. We manufacture these shims from our own tooling by a top U.K. shim specialist company!

Our individual part numbers are 4524, 4525 & 4526

Salisbury /  Jaguar part numbers are:  2HA-050 / 3867 (0.003").

                                                                  2HA-052 / 3869 (0.010"). 

                                                                  2HA-053 / 3870 (0.025").

TECHNICAL NOTE : According to the  Jaguar Service Manual, shims should be fitted  equally each side: ' The same number of shims should be fitted on either side to centralise the halfshafts , the combined end play on which should be from 0.006" to 0.008" (0.15 to 0.20mm) .'
