1 x 8290. Flexible Hose Assembly from Oil Filter Body. This is one of our range of superb, high quality, steel braided oil feed flexible pipes manufactured for us by our own specialist supplier to the original later spec. pattern. A common failure point as it takes up the movement between the oil filter on the engine and the static rigid pipe that feeds to the oil / water gauge on the body, so is constantly moving around with the engine. Fits all XK120, XK140, XK150 engines with standard Tecalemit oil filter heads and also many period saloons. For the earlier XK120 this part was a slightly different design on the rigid section and was then listed as part number 1423/A.

Unlike other versions of this hose assembly you will see available from other suppliers the rigid pipe has the correct large,single (trumpet) flared end to ensure a good hydraulic seal onto the filter head, tapered take-off (Our Part 8285 ) and a long nut for a snug fit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the fine threads are damaged on the filter head brass take-off, this part should also be replaced to prevent oil leaks from this high pressure area. A new brass take-off, is manufactured by us and listed as our part : 8285
