NOTE: Remember, setting these shocks to the firmest settings could lead to older XK chassis damage under harsh use, as it is a known rust vulnerable area, unless you reinforce the chassis, beforehand, to accomodate this heavy duty use.  Reference to Original oil-filled shock  : C7183 

Note: Original XK120 Rear uses a 'Lever Arm' , Girling type horizontal shock piston

If  your XK120 is converted to shock absorber fitting ( SEE : SE405 ) then the XK140 Spax, Rear Unit should be considered as suitable.
