Rebuilt, RARE, original Jaguar Early XK120 C4938 waterpumps. This design features a circular ( 5-hole) design of hub with twin bearing races inside. The hub is designed for fitting of a seperate aluminium pulley and 5-blade cast ( propellor look ) fan. This is the early, original factory fitted design of  pump with bearings inside the hub itself, discernable by the open top, dog / cross bar  with securing circlip etc. Original Number C3870. Cast into the body will be C4938

We do not have an example of the VERY FIRST RUN OF NARROW CHAMBER PUMPS ( C2457) so this would have to be your pump rebuilt only. These were upgraded to the bigger chambered body leaving a bolt hole through the centre of the pump body. (Yes, that's why its there!)

LOST PARTS MAY ADD EXTRA CHARGES OR MAKE REBUILDING IT IMPOSSIBLE. Cracks or broken collars under the hub will render the unit scrap! Rarity means units may not be on the shelf at all times.
