1 x 8000 casting & 1 x 8001 gasket. A new Thermostat Housing casting and gasket for the classic Jaguar XK120. UK made and unique to the XK120 as it bolts onto the RADIATOR top tank with the thick cork gasket provided. It also provides the take off for the top hose and Oil / Water guage capillary temperature sensor too. This part is the casting only for you to build up into a complete sub-assembly on your XK120 radiator. Original Jaguar part number C3732 and C3344.

To Assemble correctly you will require:

1 )  Thermostat, SEE :  8011

2 ) Double adaptor into rear boss to fit temp. guage sensor SEE : 8461

3 ) Correct XK120 Top Hose SEE : 7000

NOTE : Later XK140 & XK150 onward incorporate the thermostat into the inlet manifold, so ensure you use the correct manifold to suit your radiator.

IMPORTANT : ALWAYS USE AN ANTI-FREEZE AS IT IS ALSO A CORROSION INHIBITOR  AND COOLANT AND IS ESSENTIAL FOR PRESERVING ALUMINIUM PARTS ON ENGINES.
