1 x 1581. Our correctly manufactured XK140 Number Plate Panel Top Chrome Beading Strip. Our own exclusive and 100% correctly tooled part. This is the rare rolled section XK140 rear strip which inserts into the number plate panel top edge. Made as a correct hollow, chrome plated bead section, to simply snap into the mount holes with trim clips after the panel is fitted. Ref. number BD9945
NOTE: Would originally have been fitted with 5 x transverse, push in arrow clips and special rectangular, slide in washer (BD10039) . Now we can supply a modern push in equivalent that will not corrode.

ADDITIONAL NOTE : UK Jaguar spec number plates were always oversize, but many suppliers are not aware of this, so it is best to request a correct oversize number plate.
An obvious error when you see standard square rear number plates on the XK150 bootlid, not filling the gap between chrome strips fully.
