1 x 2382A.  Window Glass Lift Channel, 26" Long to Suit XK150 Roadster Applications. The roadster uses a unique winder mechanism that has a double jointed arm and up to now has required 2 shorter sections joining, but here we have our specially commissioned  product made for us to this length, in one smooth piece. As original, heavy duty spec. construction and this product is engineered perfectly with exact spot welds so as not to distort the run channel as other welding/ braising methods do. Engineering tolerance is +/- 0.2mm run out  i.e a near perfect parallel channel. This will give your window winder the smoothest operation as it lifts/drops. As a top trade specialist, I can guarantee that you cannot find a better made version of this section anywhere!! Note: The original Jaguar version did feature a centre and end sections cut away to have 2 short J runner sections under the U channel. This may be modified by you to reproduce this exact design, if you so wish to do so.
This type of section was common across the automotive industry until the 80's development of modern electric cable window systems created new and wonderful designs, finally making this design obsolete. It will fit applications that used standard Wilmot Breedon window winder specification parts (3/4 inch / 19mm regulator 'wheels' ) as their ref.2/11559 .
