9843 x 2. Pair of XK140 & XK150 DHC Hood Return or Tensioning Springs.

A new heavy duty spring for preloading the hood frame to the body on XK140 & XK150 Drop Head Coupes creating an over-centre motion.

A heavier poundage than the XK120 DHC hood spring (BD8591) that fitted differently, main frame to the shoert centre bow (No.4 hoodstick, abbreviated and built up with wood) which is shown in additional pictures 4 & 5 (with a plastic sleeve BD8604) over it, but some people have adapted it for this application.
