9842W x 1. The common, Later XK120 &  XK140 Roadster (OTS) Hood Frame, supplied  with pair of  the neccessary front canopy woods (SEE: 9250) to trim onto.

This design is a copy of the Later XK120 hoodframe. The earlier version was similar but  more upright at the back and is not available as a reproduction part.

See diagrams for details of all other fittings required to fit to vehicle. Theses frames were either painted grey or chrome plated as an option from the factory.

We do not recommend chrome plating it ( this was a Jaguar Factory  period Option) as the frame will have to be disaasembled, polished,  plated and then carefully re-rivetted back together again to fold 100%  properly.A mechanically quite difficult job at any time, as you can imagine!
