3620 x 1. A brand new TRW brand, replacement XK120 Tandem Master Cylinder. Only correct for the Later XK120 braking system (April 1952 onwards), and as it is longer requires its own specific mount plate (3123). ( Jaguar later reverted back to single line master cylinder using the XK120 style v-banjo in the XK140, as the Tandem system is considered to be 'quirky' and difficult to set up.) SEE NOTES BELOW. Jaguar pioneered this early dual line brake system, but it is difficult to set up and great care has to be taken not to bend the delicate internal needles or 'Tilt Valves' (No Longer Available) whilst servicing (or affected line may lock up). Original factory fited cylinders are easily identified as they bear the 'Qualcast' brand logo. Original Ref. C6712. Lockheed Ref. 31526

: Cast iron cylinders require a very slow bleeding proceedure, so take
your time and REMEMBER TO LEAVE CORRECT PISTON CLEARANCE, AS PER THE
JAGUAR WORKSHOP MANUAL (Listed as 1/32" or 0.80mm).
