Comes with push through core quick fit fittings for fitting to the standard XK120
radiators. Featuring
the latest, high quality Italian built 14" diameter 'Comex' fan, with
the unique dappled blade design for better air flow performance.
NOTE:
This kit is specifically designed as a suck-through fan, so the
standard static fan is removed and the fan fitted to the back. This
leaves the full core of the radiator to cool in normal driving, allowing
the fan to engage only when required. This immediately removes the drag
of the static metal fan, freeing up extra horsepower across its full
rev. range and also eliminating dead-spots in front of the rad or
interference of air-flow from a 1950 design, slow moving, metal static
fan.
The Revotec temperature sender is a high quality, no
leak, cut & fit aluminium collar assembly, featuring a small and
neat adjustable temperature trigger which can be inserted in the top
hose for accessibility or into the lower hose so it is unseen, but it
means it is in the waterflow to enable it to react immediately.
Obviously this will allow quicker warm up, giving sharper performance
and the added fuel savings associated with that. Features a sealed 30A
relay unit with very simple wiring loom set-up and all fittings. Tuning
tool included.
For best performance the kit has been developed
to work with XK's modified to negative earth and using an alternator
that can cope with accesories at low speeds, when needed most.
