1 x 4508. Suits XK120, XK140, XK150 and crosses over  to MKV & Mk7 Saloons too. A new Single Front Stub Axle Shaft with both end's castlated nuts supplied with it. Very accurately machined to our own tollerances.

It is often found that wear on the stub axles means that new bearings are not a tight push fit, so do not 'grab' the shaft correctly. This leads to the inner race spinning on the shaft, rather than on the actual rollers, so it's time to replace the your stub axles!

The outer bearing is 0.75" so these shafts are manufactured with a tollerance of +0.03" for best fit. If a tight fit, gently heating the bearing will then give give enough tollerance to slide the bearing on with a silicone lubricant and let it 'grab'.

NOTE: We do strongly recommend our own quality brand of bearings for BEST FIT and therefore LONG LIFE!  The O.E. brands mentioned in the Jaguar Parts Book that were once known for high (U.K.) quality now are not considered the best available.
