8619LW Rebuilt Sevice / Exchange Later 'Whitely' Design XK120 Waterpump Unit. The later XK120 waterpumps have evolved over 70 years to a modern, intergral bearing shaft , type of design waterpump. Often even fitted by Jaguar Service Agents as it was considered a superior , modern type of pump. This became known as the Whitely Design and differs because the hub head is a soild casting, flat topped and pressed onto the shaft (rater than assembled with a fixing dog, pin and circlip) the bearing is now placed inside the cast main body rather than outside inside the hub. This is the modern type that is still available and we can have most types rebuilt by our specialist. Original Ref. C6745/1
NOTE : An exchange off the shelf may have differing casting numbers & brands on it. If you want a SPECIFIC BRAND unit rebuilt, please supply it and make it clear in writing when you send the unit in to us first as we will only have one rebuilt unit on the shelf at any one time so it may be Powertune or any other brand. Casting Markings may list the following : 18556 / MX128 etc. / POWERTUNE etc
