We have specialised in XK Jaguar parts since 1969, but for the last 15 years we have been manufacturing these classic Jaguar body seal extrusions to our own specification and supplying them to the trade worldwide.

The reason why we don’t sell the seals that everyone else does?  We know from dealing with the hobby restorer and the trade that many extrusions on the market are just too hard for nicely setting up a car in the UK with correct panel fit, or just are clearly the wrong shape section when you open the box.

Something that may be nice and soft in Florida could be rock hard here in Great Britain. This leads body-men to many hours of extra re-setting of door shuts etc to achieve a good, solid slam without too much force …

So we decided to start from scratch and invest in having our own specification, closed cell neoprene, section manufactured exclusively for ourselves by a specialist company in the Midlands. The use of extra nitrogen in the production increases the ‘bubble’ in the mix, and so provides a softer, more compressible, door seal. We supply many of these sections to the trade ‘In-The Know’ in the UK and to our bigger retailers in the USA and the rest of the world too.

These kits come with generous length sections (with room for error), each strip labelled and with a comprehensive parts list to suit (as listed in our catalogue and O.E. reference numbers) and also a ‘Tricks-Of -The-Trade’ data sheet that gives you good advice on adhesives, fitting, seal orientation and where they actually fit (or don’t!).

We also of course are just on the end of the phone or email if you need any further advice during the day.

NOTE: Please be careful with your after purchase storage of this type of seal before fitting as they can distort if left twisted or with something resting on them. Remember, you only want them to form to the shape of your vehicle.
