This section is inserted between the frame and body. You then secure it using 12 self tapping screws from the outer chrome frame, into the body panel securing the quarterlight assembly into place with a weatherproof seal. This is the black beading seal (or gasket) that you see between the paintwork and the chrome around the rear quarterlight frame.
