1 x SE408. Our new, SUPER DUTY, Rear Axle Anti-Tramp Bar Kits are now on the shelf, ready to go. A super strong rear suspension kit designed to prevent unwanted XK120, XK140 & XK150 leaf spring movement that is created during hard cornering, acceleration and braking. This kit solidly braces the rear axle to the chassis to prevent the spring twisting under and also keeping it in line with the chassis at all times, for maximum power delivery and increased braking efficiency. A superb quality kit designed for performance use on the road, in hill-climbs, race or rallying. These are often fitted on US factory muscle cars and are referred to as 'Panhard Rods'.

The robust 5mm thick brackets require careful, quality, welding onto the chassis at the front, near the spring eye, as this is the main anchor point. The spring centre brackets come welded onto the 10mm thick lower spring plates (by the best welder in Coventry) so they just bolt on under or you can swap out the plain spring plates on an XK120. On the XK140/150 lower shock plates / spring hangers they just bolt underneath (a corner  strip brace may have to be ground off, if fitted (or use spacer), but this brace plate will adequately replace it as a support. As you can see from the photo, the arms are substantial, featuring 40mm bushes, and have opposing threads, so are adjusted from the centre with a simple turn to lengthen or shorten. Fine tuning is in one simple, easy motion, then just lock it in place with the nuts to secure it as required.

This kit also comes with 4 new, longer than standard U-bolts / nuts and any spacers & washers required to fit onto an XK. This kit is far heavier duty than anything we have previously ever marketed or is currently available and perfectly compliments our new 22mm, Heavy Duty Front Anti-Roll Bars, SEE : SE400 .
