2514 x 6 piece set for all XK. Correct set of 2 x 'Oddie' slot headed pins, 2 x  sprung  catchers and 2 x release rings (washers) for the gearbox dipstick inspection cover. 'Oddie' 1/4-turn Fastener Set which is let into the top of the gearbox tunnel through the carpet. 

The cover panel is trimmed to match the cockpit carpet, but in a vinyl. These are the visible, slot headed fasteners in the inspection metal cover which sits onto the carpeted gearbox cover over the gearbox dipstick. They push in to fit, and quick release with a 1/4 turn (with coin / screwdriver) to remove panel .

Panel makers often fit the wrong fasteners here, or omit them, as they are very difficult to obtain, rare and expensive to make. Original Number Ref. BD1288/1 studs, BD1288/2 washers & BD1288/3 spring clips.

NOTE : We believe these fasteners are also used to secure the XK120 OTS Battery cover box to the battery box / floor panel, but the Jaguar XK120 Parts Book does not actually list these pieces ? (If you know better, please advise us.) 

The Fastener End is 6.35mm diameter, the Shaft is 4.55mm diameter and the"screw" head is11.1mm.
