We can no longer obtain the paper type hose but this black/ grey  plastic hose is a good, modern type replacement.

This length corresponds to the length required for the fitment of the Late XK150 modification that saw the heater assembly moved into the engine bay bulkhead with a double hose fed airbox each side of the dashboard scuttle.
