5660 R x 1. **OUR OWN NEW UNIQUE PRODUCT ** A New Ignition Switch to suit XK dashboard and many other Classic Cars  ( Comes without barrel ). These switches are no longer available from Lucas, so even used can be expensive (and worn), so we have re-engineered an alternative new Lucas unit  to work in this application. This is a unique product developed here by Coventry Auto Components  and Replaces Lucas 31287/B S.45 listed for XK120/140/150.

The end face is finished in lacquered aluminium rather than adding a plating material that could affect proper operation. The only slight difference is the small flat to the underside side of the rim edge, but this is unseen once fitted. The wiring terminals will require female spades rather than the original screw clamp to bare wires. It fits to dashboard chassis plate with 2 x 4BA Nuts.

A new barrel and key set are not included, SEE  5665 for these additional new items.

A new barrel simply push fits as standard into this switch. A pin through the base hole releases it! Original Ref. C5459 \ C2754 that this switch replaces.
