8525 x 1. Later XK120 & XK140 & XK150 correct XK, new 132 tooth Ringgear. Ring Gear may be fitted by sweating (shrinking) onto an original, machined Flywheel. Re-face flywheel (minimally to avoid clutch throw loss) as necessary then the old gear teeth are machined off to oversize and then new ring-gear is heated to expand. (flywheel may be placed in a freezer, to make this step easier) then ring is positioned. As it cools, it shrinks and grabs on to the flywheel with a firm, interference fit. We can have this done by a machine shop, if required. Please ask for a quote.
This is useful for converting other similar, but differently toothed Jaguar flywheels. Please ensure you do re-fit the correct starter motor to suit or you will destroy the teeth of the ring-gear and starter pinion too!
