1 x 1821 Plain Laminated Windscreen Glass for all XK150 Drop Head, Fixed Head and Roadster Models. Original Ref. BD13051

All of our glass has beemn re-tooled by an XK specialist fitter for the best possible fit, as he was not happy with the patterns available (even from Pilkingtons). SEE NOTE BELOW ABOUT TRANSPORTING GLASS.

Fit screen from the centre, using a chalk line, moving outwards for positioning exactly in the centre of the vehicles aperture. Ensure the rubber seal lies perfectly flat, or the chrome trims will not fit later!

IMPORTANT NOTE : Store this windscreen glass upright before fitting (as if in were in the car) to prevent the glass 'wings' from bending and delaminating. Shows as white foggy forming inside between glass layers from the edge creeping inwards.

Fit using a new :  6090  XK150 Windscreen Seal

and Retainer Insert Strip : 6600

NOTE: On Roadsters and Drop Heads the screen aperture top rail may sag, reducing the aperture height, but can be simply be rectified by gently pulling the top rail upwards. It is quite a surprising thing to see!
