NOTE : These should ONLY  be fitted to fingers with re-inforced stanchions (or pillars)  cast into them OR THE FINGER MAY BREAK when applied hard. Drillings should only need be about 4  millimetres deep to hold this spring plate in position and again note that drilling too deep will cause weak  or incorrect materials to break ( far weaker aluminium copies have been available for many years).
