9781 x 1.  XK140 Front Number Plate Panel Plinth for on Bumper. Our own nice version here has a nice deep top lip flange, to hide the fittings/ gap behind,  so may be trimmed and spaced to your own fit onto the bumper. This fitting job is often done poorly and as an afterthought!

This panel should be painted black to match / blend in with the correct , larger Jaguar,  period black & silver number plate mounted on it. UK, Jaguar spec number plates were usually oversize, but most are not aware of the difference unless they had experience in making up number plates ( a regular error when fitting standard size,  rear number plates onto the XK150 boot which do not fill the gap fully).
