3191 x 1 Set. A complete boxed set of FOUR new Late Spec. (re-inforced) shoes with linings. These are of very high quality, to latest US specification. These linings are suitable for the Later XK120 and all standard XK140, 12" diameter XK drum brakes. New shoes give you peace of mind on quality and a big saving of  time on the traditional, but difficult re-rivetting of new linings.

NOTE: 2 sets are required to service a complete car. Brake linings do not just wear out, but can also distort and swell up over time from lack of use and can absorb leaking fluids and other contaminants causing  'Grabbing' or brake fade.

When linings become too worn, they score the drums, especially if  the rivets become exposed. This can result in grinding damage to the drums, leading to the replacement of those too!!! Original Jaguar part number ref.:  35130 / 4343

ADDITIONAL NOTE: These re-inforced design shoes CAN be modified to fit early XK120 Micram (manual) adjuster brakes, which are also 12" drum brakes, if you file out the appropriate end notches to accomodate them, but this will void any manufacturers warranty.
