We press these bumpers with a 500 tonne press to give a perfect shell to weld the 3 bridge supports into. In the 1950s Jaguar rolled and welded them which created many faults around the ends that can often be seen through the plating! We offer a 'better than original', deep pressed shell, version here.

We run many hundreds of pressings at a time, which are hand assembled by the best welders in Coventry and then hand finished in what is known in the trade as ' triple chrome' (copper, nickle and then chromium). We prefer to do this in sets of 10 which can sometimes lead to delays upon ordering, but gives the best quality, hand-made bumpers possible.

A poorly made version of this bumper will show every weld, bump, bend and ripple through the mirror finish chrome, as it sits horizontally on the front of an XK120!
