SE462 Kit = 1 Custom Fit Racing pump, gasket & special hose. Now back in stock after many years!! Our extremely popular and unique design XK140 & XK150 Racing Waterpump Kit. Variants of this pump have been used in racing for decades, but this unit is re-engineered by us as a hybrid, using a large impellor, high-flow saloon pump body, BUT specially constructed with new internals and drive hub to drop correctly into alignment with standard XK pulleys, with a correct bolt-pattern XK140 / XK150 boss to fit standard XK140 or XK150 aluminium pulleys. Our unique designed SE462R adaptor hose drops down from the big bore 42mm outlet ( standard is 32mm) onto the radiator bridge pipe under the chassis and has extra rubber to allow any modifications (so no bodged joints or failure points) if slight tweeks are required. This means minimal modifications to the standard 1950s engine block, as they are contained within the kit (so it is reversible). A neat, unobtrusive and cost-effective solution to the well known overheating problems that occur with XKs. The heater take-off is via a MK2 style screw-in hose outlet that can be fitted in the XK position or to the back of the pump if needed.

NOTE: This is a custom fit kit and requires slight modification to the timing cover as shown, to remove the cast peak, preventing the bigger impellor fouling, but this piece may have already corroded away on some older timing cases! This offers you the opportunity to smooth out the whole cavity casing face for better coolant flow too.
